What brings a smile to your face?

Yesterday,  I was grocery shopping at the local Kroger's and when I walked in I got this hugh smile on my face.  The store was ablaze in red with flowers, balloons, cookies, cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, it was not only a visual but also the smell sensations that brought the big grin to my face........because I recognized for one short second that I had just entered an expression of peoples love for one another.  It was fun watching people scurrying around picking out candy and flowers....it just made me feel good.....I guess it is the little things.  When I finished shopping, got in line and noticed the man in front of me and I found myself looking into his shopping cart and thinking OK, some lucky person is getting flowers tomorrow.......OH, wait.....there getting a big heart shaped box of candy,too....he must really love them....I looked at him and thought what a lucky person to have some one so thoughtful as you!!!!  I smiled again.

Around the Bend/Player Bend and Tarramont Talk are Blogs that I am writing, in hopes that I can share information with the people who live here and look forward to everyone sharing what is important to them.  Alot of the information will be duplicated to both Blogs.....since I am the writer.....and we do live and our children play and go to school together, most of them anyway.

Hello Everyone who lives in the Village of Sterling Ridge, The Woodlands, Texas, Around the Bend/Player Bend.

Yew.....that is a mouth full!!!

I am your neighbor, and an Realtor, who lives here also.  I care about the community I live in and believe that in today's busy, crazy world it is harder and harder to find the time to keep ourselves informed on the what, where, who, when and why of our surrounding community.

So I have decided to write this BLOG.....AROUND THE BEND/PLAYER BEND to include the following neighborhoods:

I will attempt to keep you informed on things that will or might impact your property values, on local government news (state, county and township), fun and exciting news on people,places and things that would be fun to share with our neighbors.  I hope that our neighbors will share information with me that impact all of us.  It can be any topic impacting us as neighbors.  Information is for our education and if it is not something your interested in, skip it and read on.......because the next article might be of the utmost importance to you.

A blog is like a diary, you write down information, a recording of present, past and future facts and thoughts and you share those thoughts with others.  It is my belief that informed neighbors usually make the best neighbors.......but remember I am just one person and my opinion is exactly that .... MY opinion......no one made me God and it is certainly OK for us not to agree, but it is not OK for us not to respect other peoples opinions.

Now that you know what I am planing.......let me hear from you and tell your neighbors about AROUND THE BEND/PLAYER BEND.
